LocalWP will not run

Hey there and thank you for the awesome software

Tho, I have a “minor” problem… LocalWP will not start when I try to run the program. Double-clicking it and it just will not start. There is nothing appearing on PC processes. Earlier today I updated Local and had that earlier problem concerning the software update. It got fixed but I still haven’t been able to start Local. I have checked the route through firewall, tho there were no problem with it earlier. Have uninstalled and re-installed the program few times so far. Booted Win 11, cleared register using Ccleaner. Local is installed on my D-drive.
Is it supposed to work ok now or is the fixing still in process, thanks?

Hi @Bethruz

Have you tried a full machine reboot? Are you running any other developer applications simultaneously?

Would you be able to provide your full Local Log? You can just drag and drop it here. Retrieving Local’s Log File

I have rebooted Windows and don’t have any other dev apps…

Hi @Bethruz

I’m not seeing any kind of errors or warning in your logs that would indicate what the issue might be.

In order to refresh here and start with a clean slate could you give the below troubleshooting steps a try?

  • Fully uninstall Local from your computer.

  • Install the latest version of Local on this link.

  • Once installed, please restart the computer.

  • When the computer is restarted and turned on, close any applications that automatically run in the background (AntiVirus, Firewall, and other Developer applications included).

  • Check and see if the issue still persists. If so, please provide us with an updated log. Retrieving Local’s Log File

Keep us posted and we’d be happy to help further!
