Location of OpenSSL.cnf on a Mac

I’m using local with MainWP to sync all my child sites. I’m getting an ‘invalid request’ on one of the sites while connecting. MainWP support tells me that I need to find out the location on the OpenSSL.cnf file. Where is it located?

Facing the same issue.

Any update on this?

Details:

When trying to add a site, I keep getting “Invalid request%21”.

Testing the connection works fine.

phpinfo shows Openssl default config: /usr/local/etc/openssl@1.1/openssl.cnf

https://mainwp.local/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ServerInformation shows “error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or directory” for “SSL Warnings”.

Hi there,

It looks like MainWP might be configured incorrectly. Can you uncheck this option?

Does that help?

Local’s SSL certs are different from the SSL certs generated by your website host: they’re local/self-signed, so they’re not validated like you would expect in production.

Fixed by following Trying To Use MainWP On Local But Keep Getting An Error When Trying To Connect Sites.
