Locked out of wordpress admin

Issue Summary

It happened right after imported using all in one to my local’s wordpress. It said something about database update and I needed to log in again. But now none of my logins work

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    I can access the website, just not the admin pannel.

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!
Not quite sure. Just that I know I deleted it to start over again since maybe I really did forget my password but no. Same thing happened again

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    5.9.8+5191

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    Windows 10

Since a lot of people have/ had this issue as well. I’ll just share how I solved it. Open Local > database > OPEN ADMINER > click select for wp_users on the list and it’ll show your user email.

You can use that user email to reset your password. Use the email and new password to log in. You can access the email from Local > utilities > OPEN MAILHOG
