Missing Sites after updating Local

I’ve just updated (manually) and now none of my sites are showing up - just a message saying "looks like you haven’t created any sites yet! Please help, I have several projects which are due imminently, I can’t afford to start again.

Note: Mac Machine and I’ve updated Virtual Box and restarted my computer.
