My sites don't appear at the local app

What issue or error are you experiencing?

I have 3 websites created and they have been running completely fine until today, I opened my Local Program to host them but they weren’t showing up. I found that the files are in the same folder and haven’t been deleted, but they are missing from the app and I can’t start my site. Please help me recover my site because I spend a lot of time building it. “My Site Files are at my user/local site folder and are there but aren’t showing at the Local APP”

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

I tried to add the folder at another name, the same they, replaced the files of the newly created site but it doesn’t work

Hello @angrypenguin -

Sorry you’re running into issues with Local. Local stores your site information (not the site itself) in a file called sites.json

Depending on your OS, this lives at:

Mac/Linux: ~/Library/Application Support/Local/sites.json

Windows: %APPDATA%\Roaming\Local\sites.json

Can you check the path here and see if that file a) exists and b) what the contents are?
