Problem connecting to local from chrome

I downloaded local to test it out but when I try to connect using latest version of chrome I get:the following error & I get a similar error with the latest version of Firefox. What am I doing wrong?

flywheel1.dev normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to flywheel1.dev this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be flywheel1.dev, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.
You cannot visit flywheel1.dev right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

Sounds like an encryption issue. Try going to the SSL tab for your site in Local (toward the top in the middle of the window) and see if the site is “trusted.” If not, click to trust the site.

You might still have issues with Firefox (I get warnings in MacOS). But Chrome should be happy enough.

Your issue might also have something to do with the “.dev” top level domain. See this article for some ideas on that. As an alternative, you could try something like “flywheel1.local”.

Many thanks for the reply much appreciated, Setting the site to trusted solved my problem and using https://flywheel1.dev/ did not cause any problems.
