For the “insufficient authentication scopes” during backup, please can you try logging out of Google Drive (from Settings → Connected Accounts → Google Drive → Disconnect Account)?

Then log in again, being sure to click “Allow” when prompted to let Local use your Google Drive folder.

If backups still fail for you after this, please can you share more information about your Google account? For example, is it a Google Workspace account? If so, your Workspace administrator may need to grant scopes for the Local application before it will work with your Google account.
