Pull git files when pulling from the cloud

One piece of functionality I believe is missing is including git files when pulling down an existing site from WP Engine that already has git configured.

At the moment our process is to bring down the files using the “pull to local” command, then we clone the repo separately and move the .git files to the same location which seems over complicated unless I am missing something.
