I’ve been trying to backup a site from Hostinger to LocalWP and just hitting so many issues. After so many failed attempts to import the backup, LocalWP failed and froze. I restarted my laptop and then it stopped opening. I reinstalled a new version but now all my sites are not showing. They still exist in Local sites folder so I don’t understand why its not showing in Local. Its been suggested to zip each site and then import them one at a time, but will need to rename them. This seems really tedious and unnecessary.

What’s happening when you try to import your backup from Hostinger? Are you getting an error with the zip file import or is it just stalling out? Have you tried doing a manual import instead?
As for getting your other sites back into Local, the easiest method is to zip them up and reimport them, but you shouldn’t need to rename them if you did a full uninstall and wiped out all previous references.
I’ve had size issues and when I can get it to import, it starts, hits a problem and deletes the import.
I have fixed it by using all-in-one migration plugin and changing the php and nginx settings to accept an import greater than 300MB.
I’ve zipped all sites I had and I think I can import them okay

Unfortunately Local failed to stop a site and froze. I went to task manager to end it and restarted the laptop. Now unfortunately Local wont start up again. I really hope I don’t have to reinstall it all over again.
