Resetting my WP site

I just started using Local. Just to clarify, if I do a WP reset on my local copy it won’t reset my on-line wp site, right? Probably obvious, but just want to confirm. Thank you for your help.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Correct! Your Local site and your live site are completely separate. If you push or migrate your Local site over your live site, that could lead to something getting overwritten, but just working on your site in Local doesn’t have any impact on versions of your site elsewhere. As always in the world of development, never a bad idea to make sure you’re taking regular backups of both in case something happens :slight_smile:
