I love LocalWP but there’s one thing driving me mad. There was a historical thread regarding inabilitiy to work across multiple devices (not a bug but a feature).
This article says you can work across multiple devices but IMO that’s false as the only thing you can do on the second device is create a new instance from a backup (there the article ends) but the pulled site can never be made progress on and pushed to the cloud (I mean updated) as it’s a new instance and it creates a new separate backup.
So working fluently on 2 or more machines is till not available in 2025?
Or can you somehow manually force the LocalWP on second machine to sync to the first machine’s cloud Restic repo? E.g. by changing the target repo hash in some config file?

The short answer is no, we don’t have a smoother workaround to offer for this. You’re correct in that working from two or more machines is more of a manual process. You essentially have to back up and reimport each time you do work from each device.
