Router Mode

Bug Summary

Local only work on Router Mode “LocalHost”.
I prefer “site domain” to work with SSL.

When I switch to “site domain” site doesn’t work anymore.

Environment Info

  • System : MacOs Tahoe

Can you share your full Local Log here for us @Jessy?

Is there anything unique about your connection @Jessy? For example do you using a VPN, network proxy, or any kind of employer WiFi? There are some connection type issues in the logs that might indicate a conflict there.

Nothing, I don’t use VPN.
I connect on different wifi source if I’m at work or home or using data from my phone.

Can you share another log here but this time please click the Download Local Logs button from the Support tab in Local. This will generate a zip archive that contains the Local log along with some other diagnostic information to help quickly zero in on any issues that Local is encountering.

I have a trouble with maillpit too BTW.

Hi again @Jessy! Thank you for your patience here.

Your latest logs show that NGINX can’t start:

[emerg] 2007#0: unknown directive “http2” in /Users/jessyb/Library/Application Support/Local/run/router/nginx/conf/server-block-ssl.conf:3

It looks like there might be a mismatch with the NGINX version, which you should be able to fix with the same steps outlined here:

For the separate mailpit issue, there are some resolution steps below that should help, depending on whether the error you’re getting mentions 1.12 or 1.24:

And website doesn’t work anymore… on localhost but works with “router mode” “site domain”.

BTW, I still need erase the localhost number (port ?) from URL to make it works.

Okay great, that’s where you wanted it to work again correct? with Site Domains/HTTPS?

What about the Mailpit errors? Were you able to resolve those?

If you need to go back to Localhost we can take a look at your log again to see if any new errors are present if you want to reshare a new copy.
