Share FTP details with others

I am getting support from the developers of a theme, and they ask me to share with them the FTP or cPanel details. How can I do that with a local site?

Since Local is running on your personal machine, there isn’t a way to give FTP details.

I think you have one of two options to try:

  1. Use Live Links: https://localwp.com/help-docs/local-pro/live-links-pro/
    This may or may not work depending on what the devs are trying to do. It also depends on your computer having a dedicated connection to the internet and always being awake.

  2. Deploy the site to a remote host for the devs to investigate. You could push it to a Flywheel demo site, or manually upload it to an existing remote site and then give the credentials that way.
