Issue Summary

One or two sentence summary of the issue.
Please help. I click on WP admin to enter Wordpress and it asks me for a username and password, I fill in the information and it sends me a message saying “Unknown email address. Please check again or try your username.” I try again to reset the password, I do it and again it sends me the same message. Someone help me please.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
