Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
Hey @sol! If you create a new, blank site in Local can you access that okay? If you can, then you may want to try reimporting the site getting the errors. The steps would look like this:
Locate the site files on your machine, and save a copy of them to your desktop. If you click Go to Site Folder under your site name it should take you right to where they are located.
Once you have those copied, completely delete the site from Local
The guide you sent makes reference to a wordpress-import folder that I need to zip. I copied the site files over to the desktop as you said, but I can’t find that folder anywhere.
Sorry for that confusion! WordPress-Import was just the name of the site for testing purposes. So for your folder it would be whatever the name of your site is
I built the site so that selected images would show a background image when I hover and launch a popup image slider when I click. The slider popups are working but the background images aren’t. They just go blank when I hover over them. Why is this happening?
→ the three images for Garden Suite, Captain’s Quarters, and Attic Atelier. When you hover over them, you should see floorplans. instead, all you see is blank rectangles. WTF?
They seem to be working for me @sol - I suspect you might be running into some caching issues. I do see some Mixed Content errors in the console as well. we have some details on troubleshooting these things here:
