Slow on Mac OS X

I’m using Local by Flywheel, the loading times are really slow. My set up

Mac OS X 10.13.3
Local 2.2.3

Usual setup
WP 4.9.4
PHP 7.0.3
Apache
MySQL 5.6

When I try to turn ‘Faster Docker Volumes’ on in the ‘Preferences > Advanced > Faster Docker Volumes’ it turns itself off after leaving preferences and coming back. And yes, I do click the apply button first.

Hi @crs1138 ,

It sounds like Faster Docker Volumes is failing to start up.

Can you please provide your local-by-flywheel.log file? It should give us a little more insight on why FDV may be failing to start. See “How do I retrieve Local’s log file?” for instructions on how to do so.

Ok, here it is…local-by-flywheel.log (197.4 KB)

Hey any news on this issue?

@crs1138,

Sorry for the delay! Based off of the log it appears that the Virtual Machine cannot connect to the NFS server in Local.

Do you have any type of internet security, anti-virus, VPN, or proxy running that could be blocking the NFS server?

Edit: actually I do use Little Snitch…

Aha, is it allowing all traffic for unfsd and all of the VirtualBox binaries such as VBoxHeadless?

No rules for unsfd and allows all traffic for VirtualBox and VBoxHeadless
