When is support for PHP 8.5 planned to be released in Local?

I don’t think we have a firm ETA, but we have some tickets in the backlog to take a closer look at what’s needed to compile for the various target OSes.

I just want to reiterate as a developer tool that it would be extremely helpful to have TIMELY releases when PHP versions come out. Ideally, the PHP versions would be released in Local before the official release date.

Perfect example, we need to test something with PHP 8.5 and don’t have the ability to do that in our development tool (Local) so we have to use another tool to do this. This doesn’t make sense!

We really need support for PHP 8.5

PHP 8.5 is now available from the ‘custom’ environment screen.

Windows users will see 8.5.1 (latest pre-compiled build available for Windows). Linux/macOS users will see 8.5.3 (latest version).
