I’ve tried everything, even using another computer from a different brand, still with Windows, and the same problem occurred. It’s not for lack of trying.
Hi @Raissa!
We would be happy to assist with your Local troubleshooting!
Was Local and your site working normally previously before running into this issue or is this your first attempt?
Could you provide some more details to help us take a further look?
-
What is your OS?
-
What version of Local are you on?
-
Please attach a copy of your Local Logs
Keep us posted and we’d be happy to help further!
I have the same problem on another computer, both running Windows and using version 9.2.6 And I don’t know how to attach my registration.
Are you just having problems accessing your imported site(s) @Raissa or are you able to create a new blank site and access that okay?
If you’re having problems accessing any sites, even new, blank ones, we have a Windows Troubleshooting guide below that goes over some common items worth checking. For example, ensure you’re running Local as an administrator, that you don’t have any security blockers, and that Local has access to update your Hosts file.
I don’t have a problem with that, it just won’t log in and it’s actually version 9.2.9.
So you can log into a new, blank site? Just not the site you imported?
You might start by clicking on Site Shell and then disabling plugins. You can run a command like wp plugin deactivate --all and with those disabled see if you can get logged in.
That’s not it, the local program doesn’t open, the app doesn’t open.
Ohhh okay sorry I wasn’t clear based on your earlier comments. Then we are back to checking device settings. Did you have a chance to review the Windows guide above and ensure that Local has permissions and you’re running the app as an administrator?
Do you have any other antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local?
I already did that, but nothing changed in either component.
Is this a personal device or one issued by your employer?
Does your device have enough available disk space?
Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.
