Hi, I am new here and I am encountering an issue that I have no idea how to solve. After creating a site on local I tried to access the WP admin portal or the site but both pages are completely blank. I have no error warnings on the browser or on local. I noticed there was an issue with the SSL certificate but I fixed it on keychain. Other than that I have no clue what I have done wrong. As I said it is my first time setting up a website with Local so I am probably missing something very obvious. Any suggestion?
What steps can be taken to replicate the issue?
Apparently simply creating a website created the issue, the site folders are there and the site shell seem to work too. I really have no idea what is going wrong.
I tried to create it from scratch, that is why I am a bit puzzled . On Local it seems quite a straightforward, simple procedure but I must have missed something obvious.
Let’s try a big reset here to see if we can refresh things.
If you don’t have any work yet in Local, don’t worry about saving sites. If you did happen to have any you’d want to export those sites that you have on Local and save them to a folder somewhere on your computer: Backup a Local Site - Local
Fully uninstall Local from your computer following the specific steps for your OS here: Uninstall Local - Local
Install the latest version of Local on this link: Releases - Local
Once installed, please restart the computer.
When the computer is restarted and turned on, close any applications that automatically run in the background (AntiVirus, Firewall, and other Developer applications included).
The big reset worked! Thank you. I thought about what I could have done wrong and I think my newbie mistake has been to edit the email in the page where you need to insert wp username and password. Once I noticed the error (the email should not be changed) I simply deleted the website and I created it again in the correct way but my first mistake must have messed up the application badly . Deleting and reinstalling Local fixed everything. Thanks again
