Tried to build new site with divi, got a missing wp-content error instead

What issue or error are you experiencing? Got

“Archive has no wp-content folder. See how to import a site.” when I tried to import divi to build a new site. I am not trying to import an existing website, I’m trying to start a new one.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Click on “+ Create a New Site” and add a divi zip.

  • Local Version: 10

  • Operating System (OS) and OS version: win11

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

You may need to create a new, blank site in Local first @paintdude and then you can upload your Divi theme file manually once that is spun up. Have you given that a try @paintdude?
