Trouble Launching Lightning after update

Hello, I am new to the community but have been using Local and Lightning for some time now. Everything seemed to be working fine and then when the new update launched, lightning had restarted but never reopened.

I then went ahead and attempted over and over, restarted my computer, tried running as administrator but Lightning never seems to open up.

I have no problem opening the original Local but Lightning, where I’ve been doing all of my most recent work, doesn’t seem to open. I am considering reinstalling but I am unsure whether or not the site I have been working on will be deleted.

I would love any recommendations as to what steps I can take.
