Hi,

I encountered an error when creating my first website on my new laptop. I’ve never seen this error before, and on my previous computer it worked perfectly fine. my username on my previous computer was “Bleijenburg”, and now it is “JoëlBleijenburg”. I don’t know if it has something to do with that.

After trying to make a new user with no special characters, the site still redirects to the account with “ë”.

I also tried to reinstall and install Local to the newest version multiple times, but that also did not help for me.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Because I lost myself in all the different possible solutions.

It looks like this error may be due to a special character in your Windows username.

Can you try creating and using a user directory without extended characters?
