Uh oh! unable to start site

uh oh! unable to start site

This is a problem that began with 6.4. I’ve backed up all sites, completely removed Local, and re-installed v6.4.3 fresh, re-imported my sites, but the error persists.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? All sites

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? No, this is what happens when I try to create a new empty site: https://share.cleanshot.com/HqN7WX

Replication

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!

Create a new site

  1. Create a new plain site https://share.cleanshot.com/yS9ZuA
  2. Click OK on error message: https://share.cleanshot.com/3fpHO2

Start/Open site: Two screen shots to show the full error information on the front end:

I’ve discovered that even though Local shows sites not running, I can enter a site url and intereact with the site just fine

System Details

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @sznngoodwin! Have you tried changing your Router Mode?

I did, and that stopped the error display, but the limitations of router mode didn’t suit. In spite of the error, I can still work with my Local sites; I just can’t start and stop them properly in the app.

Hi @sznngoodwin! Can you provide an updated log so we can take another look?
