Uh-oh! unable to start site

Hi Nick,

Thank you for your reply.
I tried changing web servers, that’s about it.

Yes I have McAfee. In fact the problem happened when I launched the update of the Local version, windows defender opened and from there I only had problems. I don’t think I have anything else.
I will look at the details sent on the troubleshooting: Router mode

I don’t have any other developer apps and haven’t checked permissions

You might need to look through the settings for McAfee and Windows Defender to check and see if anything is blocking Local or if Local needs to be “allowed” anywhere. Sometimes after an update a security application might re-flag it.

Very well thank you. I’m going to look at all of this.

Bonjour Nick,

504 Gateway Time-out

Glad to hear that (most) everything is working again!

Regarding the Live Link 504, could you check and see if it works in a different browser?

J’ai essayé sur Edge, Chrome et Firefox, j’obtiens l’erreur 404.

Je ne comprends pas !

Are you getting a 504 or a 404 error?

If you create a new, blank site in Local and try to access live link for that site do you get an error?

Hi Nick, I am having the same issue.

I am currently using Windows 11 and I am using Version 7.2.1+6433. This is the first time I am having this issue. Some of my websites are opening up but the others are refusing to start. I tried creating a new website and I am not experiencing this issue.

Please find the attached logs file.

local-lightning.zip (40.9 KB)

Please help.

Hi @lefahalo

For the websites refusing to start you might need to try reimporting them.

The steps would look like this:

  • Locate the site files on your machine, and save a copy of them to your desktop. If you click Go to Site Folder under your site name it should take you right to where they are located.
  • Once you have those copied, completely delete the site from Local
  • Restart Local/your machine
  • Reimport the site back into Local. You can refer here on how to Restore from only Local site files

Thank you, it works and I appreciate your assistance.
