Unable to activate Live Link

Issue Summary

I click on the “Log into Local” link in the Live Link tooltip, then log in, but Live Link does not become active.
NOTE: I’m having an SSL issue which may be the cause, however I’ll address this in a separate topic.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    All sites

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?


Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!
Create a new site in Local
Hover over Live Link
Click the “Log into Local” link in the tooltip
Log into Local in the web browser window that pops up
In local, observe that Live Link is not enabled

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    6.7.0 6347

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 (a)

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

UPDATE: I cleared my browser cookies and cache and it’s working again.
