Unable to start site and Creation impossible

Hello,

I can no longer access my site. I was working on it just two days ago. I also can’t access another site on Local (I currently have two on the software). When I try to create a new site, it’s impossible. Could you please help me?

Hi @Marylie! One thing you can try is opening your task manager and killing all the MySQL processes running, then restart your site and see if it works.

As another test if needed, check and see if you can create a new, blank site in Local and access that okay? If you can, then you may want to try reimporting the site getting the errors. The steps would look like this:

  • Locate the site files on your machine, and save a copy of them to your desktop. If you click Go to Site Folder under your site name it should take you right to where they are located.
  • Once you have those copied, completely delete the site from Local
  • Restart Local/your machine
  • Reimport the site back into Local. You can refer here on how to Restore from only Local site files

I had already tried closing everything in my Task Manager, but the software just wouldn’t shut down. I also tested creating a new site with nothing on it, but that didn’t work either.

Interestingly, when I came back to the software a few days later, it worked like magic! It must have been a bug in the software.
