Thank you @skalamin! Can you make sure all sites are stopped, and then check your Task Manager and if MySQL is still running in there end any tasks. After that try starting your site again.
Hi Nick, Thank you for your reply.
I stopped all the site and checked the task manager but there is no MySQL is running. when I start the site that has problem, the mysql runs on the task manager and then when I got the error the mysql are stopped.
so when all the site stopped, there is no mysql running on the background. I am not clear why I am facing this issue. Everything was okay but when I updated the local, then I am facing this issue.
looking forward to your reply.
You are amazing. Thank you so much for your help.
If you create a new, blank site in Local can you access that okay? If you can, then you may want to try reimporting the site getting the errors. The steps would look like this:
- Locate the site files on your machine, and save a copy of them to your desktop. If you click
Go to Site Folder
under your site name it should take you right to where they are located. - Once you have those copied, completely delete the site from Local
- Restart Local/your machine
- Reimport the site back into Local. You can refer here on how to Restore from only Local site files
I’m having the same/similar issue

I can create a new site and it starts up fine, however if I stop it, it can’t be restarted.

Hi @alfaz1
Here are some instructions for finding your Local log. If you send us your full local log, including your local-details.json, we should be able to see what Local version you’re on.
