@ben.turner As you found 1.0.3
had a bug that broke site switching, that should be fixed in 1.0.4
. I’ve tested it on my machine, and I can switch sites and connect to their DB separately. And, if /tmp/mysql.sock
is not accessable (writeable) then the button is disabled (from 1.0.3
).
The Local Add-on Library has been updated to include v1.0.4!
Thanks for maintaining and improving the addon!
FYI I am still seeing /tmp/mysql.sock
problems on this version… but now it’s happening between quitting Local, so expect another patch to come in @ben.turner — sorry for all the patches, hopefully .5 works…
Lost the plot here (and reading over on github) a bit… what do I have to do to get TablePlus 1.0.4 to work under Local 5.10.3?
Currently, it’s just sitting here and not do anything at all when clicked.
There was a regression with the 1.0.4
and 1.0.3
versions of the TablePlus Add-on. I’ve just removed those from the addon library, but you might need to uninstall the TablePlus addon by navigating to “Add-ons > Installed”. From there, re-launch Local and install the 1.0.2
version of the TablePlus addon.
I’m using TablePlus Add-on v1.0.2 installed, and the TablePlus button in a site’s database tab still does nothing.
Hey guys, checkout v1.0.5
https://github.com/aubreypwd/local-tableplus/releases/tag/v1.0.5 which should fix issues around what isn’t working in v1.0.4
. If you have issues (a red button) you may need to sudo rm /tmp/mysql.sock
.
@ben.turner I have had v1.0.5
vetted by a few friends that use TablePlus and I think it’s safe to get on the addons page. Do you want me to create a new post for this? Let me know…
Nice - I took it for a spin and it looks good! Thanks for the fix!
