Updated from Ventura to Sonoma and now on silicon version of Local, but errors

What issue or error are you experiencing?

I recently upgraded to Sonoma from Ventura and then updated Local to version 10 that is silicon-ready, but I’m having problems connecting to my MySQL, it says ‘Missing Mailpit v1.12’ whenever I try to start up a site and I also see this:

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

I don’t think this can be replicated as it’s an upgrade issue. I’ve tried reinstalling the app.

System Details

  • Local Version: Version 10.0.0+6907

  • Operating System (OS) and OS version: Mac OS Sonoma 14.8.5 (23J423)

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @osu! When you reinstalled the app did you do the full uninstall steps using our guide here for MacOS? Uninstall Local - Local

Be sure to save your sites/work somewhere as well before completely wiping all Local files for the reinstall.

Hi Nick, followed the instructions and all worked out great - just reimporting my sites now.

Thanks for your help!

Glad to hear it @osu! Happy Developing :green_heart:
