So that didnāt work, but exiting Local and coming back in and I received the Update notice, whew!
I am on Windows and I cannot access anything. Iāve been looking through all the topics and I was just hoping this advice my fix might problems, as well. Iām pretty desperate at this point.
This is happening all the time when I batch update plugins. Updating individually does not fail.
Also, themes are behaving the same way. Fails to remove old version, although it does indeed remove some of the files.Themes have to be completely reinstalled.

Iām still getting this error after updating to v2.0.3 Mac.
Plugin and theme updates fail. WP core updates work fine.
Deleting plugins also fails - āCould not fully remove the plugin(s)ā
Iām having the same issue on 2.0.3. It only works with the Faster Docker Volumes disabled. Would like to see it working with this option on.

Youāre more likely to see it on larger plugins, i.e JetPack or The Events Calendar plugin. Itās happened for me on every single JetPack update so far I believe.

Ah, glad this isnāt just happening to me. Disabling āFaster Docker Volumesā works for me. Following this thread for a fix (hopefully!) soon.
Same, everything works if I disable Faster Docker Volumes, but costs in speed 
. I updated to 2.04 but it is still happening. Let us know if there is any specific error you are looking for in the log files.
Same issue as stated above. Problem started only after updating to version 2.0.4. Disabling Faster Docker Volumes fixes problem.

This was addressed in 2.0.5: Local by Flywheel 2.0.5
After upgrading to 2.0.5, make sure you re-enable Faster Docker Volumes then restart your sites.

Iām having the same issue as everyone above. I cannot update or install my plug-in. I disabled Faster Docker Volumes which didnāt work. Then I upgraded to 2.0.5, re-enabled Faster Docker Volumes, stopped and restarted my site and receive this error-

Update, I manually deleted all of my plugins, restarted the updated version of flywheel and am in the process of re-installing my plugins. So far so good.
Iāve upgraded to 2.05 and was able to re-enable Faster Docker Volumes and everything is working again. I did have to update manually though, there was no notification or prompt even when I quit and rebooted my Mac. Would love a little update notification inside the app if possible. I leave Local running all the time.
Iāve also been having issues with updating plugins. Sometimes it works and others it doesnāt. It tends to be a 50/50 split as to whether itāll work or not.
I already had the Faster Docker Volumes setting turned off so Iāve turned it on just to see whether that causes more problems or not. Iāve had a myriad of problems with Local so far since updating to 2.x. It was fine prior.
Is there a way to update Local manually? I havenāt seen a 2.05 update and Iām currently on 2.04.
Hi @danieltj27, once you upgrade to 2.0.5 this should resolve the issues. I was confused about not getting a notification about an update, so I downloaded it manually and copied over my existing version and things are running fine. I just now discovered though, at the top of this page is a sticky post showing the latest versions to download and this that I hadnāt noticed before:
Available via Auto Updater: Not until after July 4th
So that explains it !
