Username and password not found

What issue or error are you experiencing?

This might sound silly, but I can only login with one click admin, when i switch it off all the usernames and email addresses i enter aren’t found???

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

I created a new account just to gain access, but can the development i’ve already done under the username / email address that i have forgotten still be used / deployed to live?

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

You should be able to reset the password for your admin user. We have some steps for that in the article below. You could also create a new admin user that would have access to any of your previous work.

Do you have any security or user management plugins? It’s possible that one of these could be conflicting and preventing access. You can also disable plugins via Site Shell with CLI commands if you need such as wp plugin deactivate --all
