Answer as much information as you can so the community can get a better idea of what it takes to create a Connect integration for a new hosting provider.
Hello everyone,
My company run an online shop, and we wish to change our setup completely to use Local for offline edits and then upload the site to Wordpress with WP Engine.
At the moment, our Wordpress website uses multiple API’s such as connection from Woocommerce to Klarna and Visma through Sharespine.
We also use common plugins like Mailchimp and Google Ads & Listings.
How would Local work in such an enviroment? Would be have problems with these connections when uploading our offine site to online.
Any recommendations using Local for an E-commerce store is much appreciated, before we take the big step!
If you’re connecting to WP Engine, you don’t need to build a connect integration as we already have connect functionality with WP Engine.

I can’t think of any reasons offhand why you couldn’t use these things in Local but you might want to check with those developers and their documentation to see if they have any recommended settings or practices for developing locally. Troubleshooting plugins and third-party services is a bit outside of our scope since they might have their own unique setups or requirements. If you run into any other specific questions or concerns along the way however please let us know and we’ll do our best to help
