Might a specific issue for me but I just updated from 5.2.1 to 5.2.3, installer finished but Local won’t start.

Because of this thread, I was afraid to update to 5.2.3 and also I have check for updates in Local About but no luck to update from 5.2.1 to 5.2.3 over there. As the release state Notes addon and I was definitely in need of working Notes add-on. Thus, I have preferred Windows sandbox feature and install Local 5.2.3 over there and it seems working in sandbox. After success, I directly updated Local from 5.2.1 to 5.2.3 without uninstalling the older version of Local 5.2.1 and the same issue of yours was banging my head. Finally the working solution for me was just uninstalling the installed Local 5.2.3 and again installing the Local 5.2.3 with “Run as Administrator”, my friend
