Why? Error installing Wordpress

What issue or error are you experiencing?

WordPress cannot be installed due to an installation error.

I restarted my pc, downgraded local, downgraded php, reinstalled local, and tried again, but no luck.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Thank you for your question.

That error message might be indicative of not having the correct permissions for your /tmp directory.

Can you possibly run ls -l /tmp in your terminal and see what permissions that folder has?

Thank you for your reply.
You entered the indicated command.
After checking the access rights,
Only oira- (owner) can read and write.
Other members are read-only.

Does this mean that a member other than the owner created the folder?
