Won't run any site

I can’t seem to get any site to run on flywheel, even if it’s a new website.

I have created a new site, click “fix it” when flywheel asks to add to hosts.

I double check to make sure it it is the hosts files.

I make sure Virtualbox is running. I have even restarted it from within flywheel.

but nothing…

I visit the site URl and I get a “This site can’t be reached”

Sorry for the trouble!

Can you please provide your local-by-flywheel.log file?

You can get to it by going to Help » Reveal Local’s Log on macOS. To find it on Windows click on the 3 dots in the upper-right corner of the window then go to Reveal Local’s Log.

Hi Ivan,

I’m not seeing anything alarming in the log. Are you using an app such as Gas Mask to modify your hosts file? Or, do you have some sort of local DNS server such as dnsmasq?

Nope, I don’t have anything else, I’m still trying to figure pout why local doenst work on my mac, but no luck :sweat:

update: following the uninstall instructions worked for me, must have been something corrupt in the Library settings thing :raised_hands:
