I downloaded the 5.2.5 version on Mac, but wordpress installation failed. I tried several times but it is always the same.

Same here, exact same problem
There is another thread where OS X Sierra users have reported the same error (Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libapple_nghttp2.dylib). I haven’t bumped into this on High Sierra or Mojave. Perhaps it’s specific to older versions of macOS?

Did you manage to sort it out? Should we use a previous version of Local, or it’s mandatory to upgrade to High Sierra or Mojave?
