What issue or error are you experiencing?

I just installed localwp and am just adding a new site.
I cannot continue due to the error: tunneling socket could not be established: cause=getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND 10809
After the error message pop up, it seems to be automatically deleting it.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

I turned off the VPN, still the same error.
I checked on Google, people say this error is due to using of proxy.
It’s true I often use VPN, however, for the second time when adding new site with localwp, I did not turn on VPN, still it doesn’t work.

System Details

  • Local Version:
    php: 8.0.0
    Apache 2.4.43
    MySQL 8.0.16

  • Operating System (OS) and OS version:
    Windows 11 64-bit
    RAM: 16 GB
    the php version installed on my computer: php8.2.7
    localwp is installed in Disk F, in the path: “F:\design WP development\local\Local.exe”

By the way, people say it’s easy to encounter various errors on windows, should I use Linux? I’m a beginner, but I want to avoid errors.

If you switch to NGINX does it work okay?

Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? That could also cause similar issues. Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.

Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local?

I changed from custom installation or preferred installation, it is okay now.
Yes, I changed from Apache to Nginx.
