Citing personal issues the maintainer of AdminerEvo has archived his repisitory, while there are no issues right now, eventually there could be a security or bug issue. He suggested people checkout AdminerNeo adminerneo/adminerneo: Database management in a single PHP file. Full on PHPmyadmin would be great as well!
What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc
Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
I would like phpMyAdmin too, because it’s the most used tool by webhosters. And working with such “standard” tools is especially an advantage for beginners!
But if Adminer is preferred, why not the original?
It seems alive and maintained (last release is only a week old)
Until development started again in February original Adminer had not been updated in four years. With one shutting down and one restarting I wonder if it’s just a coincidence or related.
Thank you @EricJohnsonGuru and @burnuser! The Local team is revisiting their discussion around this and we’ll continue to check in with the community and provide any updates along the way!
