All of my content is gone after SQL error

Here’s what happened. Somehow the SQL database got corrupted and I was getting an error that said cannot connect to database.
So what I did was

  1. copy the entire file structure from the local sites folder to another folder on my computer. Then i deleted the pre-copy site from Local.

  2. Then i re-created the site with the same name in local.

  3. I deleted the new folder it created in local sites.

  4. Then i moved the file structure that i had copied in step 1 back to local sites.

  5. Now i can get back into the site technically but all of the pages, media and content that i’ve created are just… gone. I’ve lost 2 months worth of work building this site. I don’t understand where the content for all the pages could have even gone!

PLEASE HELP! PLEASE!
