Backup sites

I would like to know how to back up sites created locally, so that I don’t lose them if my computer crashes.

There are a few ways you can go about this:

• You could simply export a copy of the site to save to your external or cloud storage for safekeeping. Instructions here: Backup a Local Site - Local

• You could use our Cloud Backups add on to back up your sites and save them to Google or Dropbox. Instructions here: Cloud Backups - Local

• You could use a backup plugin to create and store a copy of the site. WP Migrate Lite for example is a free plugin that can create a full site export for you. WP Migrate Lite – WordPress Migration Made Easy – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org
