Do I have to local app to have switch on?

Guyss, Do I have to keep the mac on and the local application at the same time for my website to be “live”? Because when I restarted the PC and the local application closed, my website did not work. Thanks

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hello, @Fanfanko - welcome to the Local community!

Yes, in order to keep your website “live” (using Live Links, for example) your computer needs to be on as well as the Local application and the site needs to be in the “Started” state.

When the site is Started, you will see “Stop site” in the upper right-hand corner.
