Issue Summary

I ve installed local-6.4.2-linux.deb into the Linux part of my Chromebook
I can open Local Window correctly and create a new site
I can open Open Miner and see all the files into the folder but
I cannot open site shell
I cannot launch the site and its admin

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Can you provide a little more information about your Local setup for this site?

Specifically:

  • Web server
  • PHP version
  • Database

Have you tried to stop & start the site? You can also try to shut Local down and open it back up.

Have you tried to create a new site with a different name, such as test? Does that work?

Are you seeing any errors inside of Local?

I’m starting with WPLocal… so I need a “coach” for the dummies :joy:

Here the info :

  • Web server : NGINX (Shall I select APACHE ?)
  • PHP version : 741
  • Database : My SQL 8.0.16
  • WP : 6.0.1

Have you tried to stop & start the site? YES but nothing happens

Have you tried to create a new site with a different name, such as test? Does that work? YES : cw.local or test.local but it doesn t work

Are you seeing any errors inside of Local ? None ! can we share with you my setup ? Or where can I find and send logs to you ?

Hi Sam,
1/ I did 2 or three without too knowing and it s running :joy: !
2/ I ve from now to folders : the first including this new virgin wp site and the second including a copy of the hosted site to transfer to Local.
What is the method to migrate the database from hosted to local one and move all files from hosted to local site ?
3 How to remove my flywheel account ?
