Error: Cookies Blocked - Unable to Log in to Local WordPress Site

Hey everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue while trying to log in to my local WordPress site, and I could really use some assistance. Here’s the error message I’m encountering:

“Error: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.”

I’ve attempted a few troubleshooting steps but haven’t had any success so far. Here’s what I’ve tried:

  1. Downgraded the local version to 7.01: Unfortunately, no luck with this approach.
  2. Utilized the one-click admin option: However, it only redirects me back to the login page.

Additionally, I’ve cleared my browser cache, hoping that it would address the problem, but the cookie-related error remains persistent.

  • Which version of Local is being used? 7.01

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used? Window 10

  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so:

Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local? That might be a good place to start.

I checked the security and firewall setting. It doesn’t seem to be the issue with those.
