Error of connection when I click on WP admin

Hello,

On Mac when I click on WP admin, I get this message “Local wishes to make changes.” “Enter your password to authorize this operation”, and when I enter it it doesn’t work.
I then “cancel” and click on WP admin again, and the page launches but doesn’t load.
How can I solve this problem?

Hi @Amau

Local is requesting permission to update your Hosts file. Are you 100% sure the password is correct?

Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local?

Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? That could also cause similar issues. Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.

What MacOS and Local version are you on?
