All local directories have been deleted. Log here.
Didn’t just delete Flysheel sites, but whole other directories too. This is wildly unacceptable, just starting to piece together what’s happened now.
It deleted my entire default Mac Sites directory too.
Hi there,
I’m truly sorry for the frustration!
Local mounts specific directories using Docker so I can’t think of any way the directories outside of “Local Sites” would be modified.
With that said, this is the first report I’ve heard of this. I would recommend going to Disk Utility on your Mac and then running “First Aid” to make sure your disk is in good condition.
Thanks. Ran Disk Utility and there were errors that have now been fixed.
To explain how this happened - I created a new site from a template, which was still provisioning after 1 hour, so I cancelled it. However, during the provisioning process, I navigated to my Sites dir and noticed all the flywheel sites missing.
How long should a site take to provision form a template? 500mb
Any answer?
Hi @backtofront,
Provisioning shouldn’t take long at all.
Is the “Template” an archive or .zip you’re trying to import? If so, what type is it? Is it a Flywheel backup, Duplicator backup, BackupBuddy backup, etc?
It’s a Wordpress installation.
