Flywheel Local keeps saying checking system... for ever!

I have installed Flywheel local on Mac and its a new install and it keeps saying ‘checking system’ and doesn’t go past that, can you help?

I have same issue but on windows 10

Hi Paul,

Are you able to provide the Local version and the Local by Flywheel logs to help troubleshoot further?

See How do I retrieve Local’s log file? for instructions on how to do so.

Otherwise, are you able to confirm that you have VirtualBox installed by checking for the following file: C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe

If this isn’t present, can you manually install/update to VirtualBox 5.2.4? Here’s the direct download link:
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/5.2.24/VirtualBox-5.2.24-128163-Win.exe

(Or for Mac:
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/5.2.24/VirtualBox-5.2.24-128163-OSX.dmg)
