Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

That’s definitely not normal and might indicate some type of connection issue.

Is there anything unique about your network? Are you using one at an office, or are you using a hotspot, VPN or network proxy?

Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? That could also cause similar issues. Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.

I am on my personal machine and I figured it was Avast antivirus that was blocking the installation. I had to uninstall Avast and then it downloaded past wordpress but got stucked on the MySQL download screen

After you removed Avast did you quit Local and restart your device? If not could you give that a try?
