Have you tried a full reboot of your machine yet?

Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? That could also cause similar issues. Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.

No other local server installed on my macbook, only my macbook has localwp installed, can you give me a solution please

Is there anything unique about your connection? Are you using a company network? VPN?

That’s odd that it’s hanging on that step.

Can provide the Local Logs? You can get a zip of those logs by clicking the “Download Local Log” button from the “Support” tab of Local. See this help doc for more information:

Thanks for the log, @Raziul. I can’t reproduce this with the latest version of WordPress, but you could try clearing Local’s cached download of WordPress in case it’s corrupt:

Sorry that Local is freezing when adding WordPress, @Kendrix. Please could you try these steps? Quit Local and restart your machine. Open the Finder and choose Go → Go To Folder. Paste ~/Library/Application Support/Local/cached-wordpress and press Enter.
