Stuck... Downloading wordpress

What issue or error are you experiencing?

Recently downloaded Local, and tried to create my first site, went through the wizard and selected preffered route using nginx web server. I clicked on yes to allow permissions to access my computer (windows), but it is stuck on ‘Downloading WoredPress…’, it has been well over 30mins by now and I have tried numerous times, creating a new site and reinstalling Local.

Any advise or help please.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Just follow the wizard to create a site.

What is your OS/OS version?

Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local?

Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? That could also cause similar issues. Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.
