Local is running so slow and it is killing my productivity

I have tried restarting it but nothing works. And it is taking minutes to load the admin dashboard and website. Can anyone help me?

Are you having trouble with the Local app or a specific site you are working on?

Can you provide a little more information about your setup?

As far as exporting, you should be able to Start the site, and then Export it within the app. Details here: How to export a WordPress site from Local - Local

If you want to use a plugin, you could try WP Migrate Lite which has a simple Full Site Export option as well.

As far as performance, you could start by running through this help doc
